This whole project (Dog Health) is dedicated to the memory of the late Sean — a gentle and loving dog who touched hearts. Sean’s life was a reminder of how much dogs give us, and his passing from parvovirus inspires our commitment to creating a healthier future for all dogs.
Who We Are
Dog Health Uganda often simply called Dog Health is a dedicated platform committed to improving the health, safety, and well-being of dogs across Uganda and the world at large. We believe that every dog deserves a healthy, happy life — whether it’s a beloved pet at home or a stray in need of care. Our mission is to educate, support, and empower communities with accurate information and practical resources on dog health and welfare.
We combine veterinary knowledge, community outreach, and digital education to build a more compassionate and informed society for dogs and their caregivers.
Our Mission
To promote dog health and welfare in Uganda through:

What We Do

Health Education: We share expert tips and evidence-based information on dog nutrition, common diseases, vaccinations, and proper hygiene.

Awareness Campaigns: We work with communities to increase awareness on issues such as rabies prevention, vaccination drives, and responsible dog ownership.

Why We Exist
In many communities across Uganda, dogs are loyal companions, guardians, and part of family life. Yet, access to reliable information on dog health is limited. We aim to bridge this gap by offering trusted, easy-to-understand guidance that helps dog owners make informed decisions about their pets’ health.
